16/1/24 – Before Christmas the team lost 3-2 at the Open University but this time we had a full strength team.
The match started well with 3-0 wins for Steven and Thomas at 4 and 5 respectively. Evan then won 3-0 at number 3 and so we were guaranteed the 5 bonus points for the overall win.
However as every point counts, the team were keen to win the remaining two matches. At 2 Glen played a close match which he just lost 3-2.
Finally Sean at 1 was into a tough match were he was 2-1 down. However showing his determination and many excellent shots, he came through to win 18-16 in the fifth.
This gave an overall score of 19-5 for an excellent win.
